Biography

Having experience in set design and a First Class BA (Hons) Theatre Design degree from Rose Bruford College, I have always had a hands-on approach to designing for theatre, painting and making a lot of my own sets.
I found I enjoyed and showed skills in the practical side of things, so I sought more experience in scenic art – which I am currently undertaking a Masters in with Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

I also have 4 years’ experience at Theatre Royal Plymouth’s workshop TR2 where I have been an assistant on various projects ranging from those for small theatres to and international scale.

Theatre for me is such an exciting industry and I feel lucky to be involved at various levels. Design-wise, there is such a joy seeing a project through from initial ideas and scale model, through to its realisation and then the final rehearsal and curtain opening. It seemed a natural progression for me to follow a path into scenic art, something which over the years I have gradually immersed myself in and become very excited about.
