Policies and Procedures

This page includes a list of policies and procedures that apply to current Bristol Old Vic Theatre School (BOVTS) students.

BOVTS degree courses are validated by the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) meaning students are UWE registered students and UWE policies apply, except where there is a separate BOVTS policy.

ⓘ If you cannot find the policy you are looking for below, please contact either the Admissions Department ([email protected]) or the Higher Education Administration & Student Support Manager ([email protected]).

Students should note that these policies and procedures are subject to review. Any changes to course-related documentation will be communicated to students in advance and, where significant, will only be implemented after consultation with affected students.

As soon as I visited the School, I fell in love with the place. Perhaps it sounds a bit irrational, but sometimes you get a vibe - and you just know! BOVTS gave me all the tools I needed to prepare for a career as an actor. Sahir Mehta, MA Professional Acting, 2018
