Acting Q&A
Would you like to know more about training in acting at drama school? Are you considering applying to train with us in 2021?
This online Q&A with Artistic Director Jenny Stephens and Head of Acting Courses Paul Clarkson as well as some of our current students will allow you to find out more about drama school and specifically more about the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. They’ll tell you more about our BA in Professional Acting and you’ll have the chance to ask questions.
ⓘ In order to facilitate discussion, this event shall be limited to 30 participants and so a number of outreach eligibility criteria will be considered in order to attend this webinar.Â

Eligibility Criteria
There are a number of eligibility criteria that are considered when selecting successful applicants for this webinar.
Essential criteria include currently or previously having attended a state school in the UK.
Beyond this, priority will be given to attend the webinar to students who meet one or more of the following:
- have no parental history of higher education
- live in neighbourhoods with low overall progression to higher education
- have been eligible for free school meals within the last five years
- are from an ethnic group which is underrepresented at BOVTS
- are a refugee
- have caring responsibilities for a family member
- have a disability
- have lived, or are currently living, in local authority care
