This is a seven-hour course which will run from 09:30-17:30.
Downside Rd, Bristol
The intensive, 7-hour Masterclass in Devising Theatre has been designed as a practical exploration of different techniques to find new stories and devise adaptations. The short course will help you develop your improvisation, ensemble and ‘storymaking’ skills. Learning will take place in a playful environment where you can participate in improvisatory theatre games and narrative driven exercises to tease out the stories you want to tell.
Bristol Old Vic Theatre School offers a fun and nurturing environment in which to pursue your creative ambitions. The support and feedback available from your tutor will help you develop your natural talents and confidence in theatre acting.
Liz Felton is Artistic Director of The Story Cellar, working as a theatre director, workshop facilitator and storyteller across Bristol and North Somerset. She set up the Adult Company at BOV in 2013 and currently directs their community theatre group Oi Polloi, as well as facilitating many other projects for companies such as Travelling Light and Tobacco Factory Theatres.
