Henry VI was forced to take over the English Rose Corporation as a baby. As the son of England’s greatest leader, Henry V, he has been bred for this; but his heart just simply isn’t in it. A fact well known to the ambitious men and women who surround him.

Tensions in the company quickly descend into infighting, backstabbing and cold-blooded murder as this huge corporation descends into chaos and society quickly follows.

A bold new adaptation of Henry VI part 1,2 and 3 inspired by modern tragedies; Succession and House of Cards, and our current political landscape. This is a whirlwind thriller of greed, ego and big business presented by Bristol Old Vic Theatre School’s graduating MFA in Professional Acting students this summer.

  • Venue Accessibility

    There are allocated wheelchair spaces in The Weston Studio on both Floor and Balcony levels. The Weston Studio is a more flexible space so we can accommodate multiple wheelchair users. Please book these spaces in advance by phoning 0117 987 7877.

    All publicly available areas of Bristol Old Vic are accessible via our Foyer lift which goes to all levels
    We have accessible toilet facilities on Levels -1, 0 and 1, accessible via the foyer lift.

    Our toilets on Level -1 are signposted as gender-non-binary welcome.

    A sound enhancement system through use of a headset or individual loop is available for all performances. These are available from the Box Office on arrival to the Theatre.
