FdA Costume for Theatre, Film and Television
Informed by her previous studies in Art History and Tailoring and inspired by standard of the ballet costumes produced in Roberta Oakey’s studio, Laetitia is seeking further workroom opportunities to add to her costume making skills. Ultimately, she wants to design and make costumes for dance performances and film, having experienced the role of stand-by at BOVTS.

Costume Maker, Pride and Prejudice (The Mount Without)
Regency muslin dress and over-gown with piped seams and cartridge pleating detail, designed by Olivia Jamieson. Both pieces were drafted on the stand based on an original period pattern and made over the course of four weeks with a number of different Regency-era techniques, including piping, cartridge pleating and gathering.

Handstitched eyelets
16th Century Tudor bodice made during lockdown over zoom. Jean Hunnisett pattern. Steel boning, eyelets, piping, with a front stomacher covering the lacing.
