The Ruff Guide To Shakespeare promo

BOVTS at the Edinburgh Fringe

Published on:
2nd August 2019

Today marks the beginning of the Edinburgh Fringe festival – a thriving scene of arts and culture with thousands of shows on offer across the month of August in Scotland’s capital city. Whether you’re taking part in a show (or several!) or watching as many as you possibly can each day, it’s a chance to get involved in an amazing celebration of the arts.

We’re extremely proud that there are quite a few current or past BOVTS students at the festival across this month – you can sample verbatim theatre, Shakespearean children’s theatre or even stand up comedy, to mention a few! So if you’re heading to Edinburgh this month and want to take in some BOVTS talent, read on for the full details on some of the wonderful shows our current or past students are involved in.

Graduate Sahir Mehta
As soon as I visited the School, I fell in love with the place. Perhaps it sounds a bit irrational, but sometimes you get a vibe - and you just know! BOVTS gave me all the tools I needed to prepare for a career as an actor. Sahir Mehta, MA Professional Acting, 2018
